Just Do It!

Normally when it comes to house projects, I'm a "think and ponder and plan and brainstorm for months before I decide for sure" type person.  But every now and then, I get a bee in my bonnet and I just straight up do something.

Such was the case when I brought home last month's issue of This Old House magazine from the library yesterday and was immediately smitten with the image on the front cover.  I thought "I should paint the wood on our bench on the back patio the same color as our front and back door."  

And so today I did.

And I'm soooo happy with it.
