Tonight's rainstorms knocked two of the daylilies from their stems. I decided to enjoy them tonight beside my perch on the couch, along with a marvelous candle I couldn't resist at Target called "Perfect Night"
I recently bought both the Perfect Night AND Red Velvet Cupcake candles from Target. The Red Velvet Cupcake smells so much like its inspiration that my 14-year-old stepdaughter just had to lick it to see if it tasted like it as well. hahaha! The Perfect Night candle has a familiar smell to it that I can't quite pinpoint...vanilla maybe...but something else. I bet that candle along with the daylily scent was a divine delight in the senses. :)
Those are gorgeous lilies. I've only ever seen the plain orange variety. We've been having a thunderstorm here. I do so love a good storm.
