Corvin seems to like it! (He's the blackened loaf of bread on the floor in the first picture) Tonight, we had our first purely social call guest at the new house, and we celebrated by christening our fireplace. The flu closure is pretty testy, and we took it off its hinges before we figured out how to get it back on track and open and close it. But once we got it figured out, we enjoyed a nice roaring log.
Still deciding what to do with the mantle in the long-term, but we threw a few things up there for now. I do think we'll leave the mirror in the middle there, centered a little better.
